Motorola is a household name in electronics synonymous with cell phones. My first experience with Motorola was with a pager I bought in 1989. As a manufacturer they're into almost everything radio and communications related with a hefty line of ham radio products from transceivers to receivers and amps. They've come a long way from manufacturing washing machines.
